Day 4: Which Important Events Represent Your Living Quilt?

Standard

This quilt of shows and important experiences will go to university with my daughter.

I’ve never made a quilt before, but it looks like we’re actually going to finish this one.  We pieced together T-shirts of important events and couldn’t believe we had twenty of them.  Besides the scrapbook, this is the best way to bundle up these memories as my daughter goes off to university.

Quilts inspire all of us.  We know they take time, and we value them.  Today’s brain activity relates to these squares.  Eighteen by eighteen inches hold a plethora of memories.  I made a list of ten important events that were tipping points for me.  Looking back, it’s easy to see the influence of the past on the things I love today.  Take this easy challenge and send a comment.

Things that were hard to bear are sweet to remember.  ~Seneca
