Weekly Photo Challenge: Light

When we stand in the light, we are seen as we are!

“Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.”  Martin Luther King, Jr.
Standing tall in the light, this bamboo is beautiful, but not perfect.  I love that we can stand in the light for things we know to be right.  We don’t have to wait until we’re flawlesss to have a voice.  Wherever we are and whatever we’ve become can be exposed in the light.  Sometimes exposure frees us.  Light tends to purify.

Our eyes are drawn to the light. Let's stand worthy when we're in it!

“Walking with a friend in the dark is better than walking alone in the light.”  Helen Keller

Let us value our friendships and love deeply.  Each of us enjoys life more when we have support from another

Living together in the light is often challenging, but it is a requirement.  To improve our fellow man, we need to be transformed.  As we change, our nature will be to influence change in others.

Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. Let us lead others to Him!

“Words which do not give the light of Christ increase the darkness.” Mother Teresa

Unless we have light ourselves, it’s pretty difficult to pass words of light on to others.  Mother Teresa is spot on.  Pointing another person to Christ allows them to know where to find light.  In a way, it’s like teaching a man to fish.

Seek out the light and you'll find growth!

“You weren’t an accident. You weren’t mass produced. You aren’t an assembly-line product. You were deliberately planned, specifically gifted, and lovingly positioned on the earth by the Master Craftsman.”  Max Lucado

Seek the creator and walk daily in His plan.  There you’ll find the light you need to grow daily.
