Day 133: Seven Birthday Wishes for My Best Friend

Standard

Have a happy birthday!

“God gave us the gift of life; it is up to us to give ourselves the gift of living well.” Voltaire

Today is my husband’s birthday.  He is a guy who puts his whole heart into life itself!  Today, I offer him seven birthday wishes.

May you be blessed as you have blessed others!  It is a joy to hear stories of how you have blessed others.  Now, on your birthday, I hope that you will be blessed as much or more.

May you be encouraged as you are a great encourager!  The first time I met you, I was impressed by your encouraging words.  People love to run with you because you cheer them along.  It’s no wonder your office is full.  Many people leave you feeling more encouraged.

May you find joy in the work you do every day!  Regardless of the work you are doing, you always seem to have fun!  Whether you’re doing accounting, moving furniture, or mowing, you seem to do it with joy.  I hope this year’s work brings you even more joy!

May you be surrounded by people who know your heart!  When time is limited, it’s always best to be with the people you love.  I hope today brings you time with those who know you well.

May you enjoy the fruit of your service!  At times, work is difficult and it’s not easy to see the fruit of labor.  Today, I pray that you catch a glimpse of the fruit from the plants you’ve been nurturing!

May your passion for life be contagious! If all people were like you, the world would be a more fun and passionate place to live.  I hope that everyone catches on!

May you enjoy good health and peace in the coming year!  We never know what’s coming our way.  For this year, I pray that you’ll find good health and peace as you work and serve others!

I love you, sweetheart!  Happy Birthday!
